8 Unique Poses for Energetic Kids ~ North Oaks, Minnesota Child Photographer

Think having a photo session with your rambunctious kid is a no go?  Think again.  Don’t forgo having family pictures just because you think the kids will be monsters.  Trust me, I’m a pro; I got this!  I’ve been photography children and families for about 7 years now and I’ve experienced all kinds of kiddos and I have had fun at every single one of those sessions.  How you ask?  It’s easy.  The key is to keep them busy and having fun that they don’t even realize they are getting their pictures taken.  Will there be moments during the session when you think its all going downhill and how could I possible have gotten anything good?  Absolutely.  But I can almost guarantee that even though it feels like its all going to hell in a hand-basket, in two weeks after your session when you see the images you’re going to say “I can’t believe how many great images you got!”  I mean you can just peruse the “in a word” section on my website and see how many times I’ve been told this.  Just take heart that you are not the only person with active kids.  So without further adieu I’m going to show you 8 unique “poses” for energetic kids:

  1. Jumping on the bed; 2.  Throwing leaves; 3.  A Ticklefest; 4. Let them run; 5. Climb trees; 6. Twirl; 7. Swing; 8. Ring around the rosies.8 unique poses for energetic kids
