Letters to Our Children; June ~ North Oaks, Minnesota Child Photographer

This post is dedicated in the memory of my sister Kara Leigh (February 8, 1983- June 7, 2005).  These images were taken in 10 minutes on June 7, 2014 (by coincidence) of my beautiful 7 year old daughter who always seems to remind me of my sister who I miss dearly every single day.

Dear Kendall,

I had a hard time writing this letter.  I’ve written it and erased it so many times I’m just tired and want to be done now.  I just want to say keep your dreams alive, be who you are and want to be.  And don’t let ANYONE tell you that you can’t do something because you can do ANYTHING!  Within 10 minutes I think I captured the you I love so very much.

  1. Michele, these are amazing shots of your daughter. I can see her personality. I am so sorry for the loss of your sister, that must be hard especially if you see traces of her in your daughter ♥

  2. Your daughter is absolutely beautiful!!! (I am so sorry about your loss. I know your sister must have been just as beautiful since your little girl reminds you so much of her.)

  3. Beautiful shots!! Love the light!! And I can not even imagine losing one of my sisters. I hate you had to experience that sort of loss so early in life.
