Letters to Our Children; February ~ North Oaks Budding Artist Photographer

This month I want to write a letter specifically to my daughter.

Dear Kendall,

I love how your art can be found through-out our house.  I’m not very good at holding on to things I know you’ve yelled at me more than a few times when you’ve found something of yours in the trash.  But I can’t save everything!  If I saved everything I’d have papers coming out of my ears!  I already have boxes and boxes of things from your preschool years (and lets not forget your brother’s things too).  And you are only in 1st grade!  Anyway I’ve regressed.  I wanted to tell you how even though it seems like I throw so much stuff away (or I should say recycle) I love love love hanging up your art on my walls.  You are a very talented little lady and I know big things will come for you.  Keep up your love of art we are all so very proud of you!

Lots of love,

Mommy

(Kendall took an oil pastel class this past summer and I’m just now getting around to making her drawings into canvases)  She has many other art pieces framed around the house.009 copy

(If you are interested in turning your child’s art into canvas, I can help.)
